Image “Requiem for a Dream” received an honorable mention award.
Judge’s comment- This digital photograph has a surrealistic quality and hints at a story behind the
photograph. The craftsmanship is superb with the attention to detail and all the work “behind the scene”
to seamlessly mesh the layers and connect the details. Every detail is important and every object is well
considered and intentionally placed within the composition. There is a sense that in the nest instant,
something is going to happen- maybe the cup will drop? There is also a sense of things not being quite
right as embodied in the slanting table.
